Tips to make Auto Accident Claims

A Concern through the Holidays and Winter

Holidays can be a time when people are on the roads more often, while winter is just the opposite. There is a common thing between both these seasons. The impending dangers of an accident waiting around the corner and a rise in traffic. People would have made sure that their vehicles are insured without a doubt. Many states have a law in place that say you must have at least liability insurance. Do all people have the knowledge to proceed with a claim with their insurers in case of an accident? This is a matter that has led to several disputes with insurers. Claims made, have either been reduced or rejected by the insurers in many cases. What is the simplest way to get a claim processed without trouble?

This is not the moment to Panic

The important things you should do if you are in an accident is avoid any type of panic. You could land into more trouble than imagined if you panic after an accident. Having been involved in an accident, you have to make a claim for it and this should be remembered. Stay calm in the first place and use the following tips to collect information that will help process your claim.

What can You do?

Should you be involved in an accident, report the matter to the police immediately if someone is injured. The extent in the injury does not matter. Harm to property and car should also be reported. Move the vehicle towards a safe place away from the flow of traffic. While you would be better off taking photos of the accident, it would also do you good by writing down the license numbers of the vehicles involved in the accident. The police will ask you to complete a driver information exchange form. Ensure that you are in possession of all details from the other party involved in the accident. If any witnesses are around, collect names, addresses and phone numbers of theirs. Do not accept fault for the accident or any money from the other party to stay away from reporting the accident. This can affect your claim. Make sure you file your claim by getting in touch with your insurer immediately after the accident. This form needs to be completed in all respects. Before you ! move your car to a mechanic shop of your choice, have a word with your insurers about any preferred repair shop that they might have. Also make sure that the insurer agrees to pay for all repairs before you get the work done, if an adjuster is appointed. Should you come across supplementary damages at the time of the repair, you should report this and take approvals for the repairs. Make sure that the car is back in good condition by checking all repairs that have been carried out. You should get a receipt for all work completed with the name and address of the repair shop visible. The insurers will demand this out of you. Lack of information about the rules plays an important role in the majority of the issues that people have with insurance claims for auto accidents. Insurers will not compromise on the rules but follow then be! cause they are bound to do so.

When I needed fast cash, Personal Money Store was on my side

When I needed fast cash, Personal Money Store was on my side.

It all started with my power bill. When I fell a little bit behind on my monthly payment, I found myself extremely embarrassed. Having to ask my parents for some money to pay my bill was the last thing I wanted to do. After all, I do have my own job. I work full time and I know nothing in life comes easy.

How I found the answer to my no cash dilemma.

I started an online payday loan search and clicked the first un-shaded listing on the extensive list of online payday loan service providers. To my delight, I found out why Personal Money Stores has earned its ranking when faced with such stiff competition. I got on the phone and called my friend right away to see if I could use him as a reference. To my surprise, when I mentioned Personal Money Store, he said he has been utilizing their service for quite some time. He told me about his experience and how I could get anywhere from $50.00 to $1,500.00, sometimes in as little as 2 hours. I finished the online application and was directed to a custom fit lender tailored to my exact needs.

I never knew getting a short term loan could be so easy!

I supplied my basic information, including my employer's contact information. I was shocked when I didn't even need to fax a single stitch of paper. I had the emergency funds that I needed to keep the lights on the same day in about 2 hours to be exact. They even gave me the option to pay the whole amount my next payday, or to spread the payments out over a period of time. Now I can relax because I don't have to worry about bothering my parents or getting my power shut off. … click here to read the rest of the article titled "When I needed fast cash, Personal Money Store was on my side"

Yung Berg not robbed and beaten, or so he says

Transforming bad press like Jazz on the Prowl

More or less than meets the eye?

Carl Jung believed in the collective unconscious. Yung Berg (or Young Berg, if you prefer) would like us to believe that he has not been continually beaten while haters go for his chains. His collective stash of emergency money and Transformers is still safe in the secret area of that bottle endorsed by Michael Vick.

MTV News gives us the 411 that rapper Yung Berg is freestyle tweeting and vlogging to set the record straight. No, he was not robbed at gunpoint in L.A. like those TMZ guys said. He was not beaten, he did not lose $10,000 in cash and jewelry and no police report was filed. Optimus Prime is safe to pursue a life of Megatron-thwarting fulfillment, although some people think the new Cybertron is on Soulja Boy's chain.

Rhode Island teachers fired as school feels government heat

All 88 teachers at Central Falls High School are gone

If it were only that simple, Mr. No Child Left Behind. Think again.

Central Falls, Rhode Island is reeling from a firestorm of student, parent and teacher protest. Central Falls High School wasn't making the grade with its standardized test scores and graduation rates, so the school board voted to fire the entire teaching staff. The 88 teachers are some of what may be many unfortunate casualties as American public education struggles to right itself.

Do they need money now?

That's the standard bureaucratic response to these kinds of situations. If kids are failing, build better schools, develop more programs, buy more books, etc. While keeping education safe and state-of-the-art is no doubt valuable, there are others who argue that this fails to address the real problem. But before I get to that, let's consider the Rhode Island teachers who were fired.

"I'm after school every day, I'm always available. I'm heartbroken. I'd do anything for this school system, I've done everything I can," said teacher Frank Delbonis to NECN Rhode Island. This seems to represent what many of the teachers are feeling. The local media reports they've even shared tears with their frustrated students.

No Child Left Behind at work

The Central Falls district – which not coincidentally is an economically disadvantaged area of Rhode Island – has consistently ranked in the bottom five percent of academic performance in the state. Superintendent Frances Gallo was given few choices by the federal government if the school was to continue receiving funds. These choices were: … click here to read the rest of the article titled "Rhode Island teachers fired as school feels government heat"

People turn to payday loans as new credit card laws set in

New credit card laws

Payday loans are in higher demand now than ever before. During the economic downturn and the credit crunch, more people from more income brackets started turning to payday loans than ever before. Reuters reports that "Customers' average income has increased to about $50,000 from $41,000, and a significant portion of customers have a median household income over $75,000."

Furthermore, experts predict that once credit card issuers start feeling the crunch from the new credit card laws, fewer people will be approved for credit cards. Likely payday loans will be in even higher demand as people have fewer options for credit.

How payday loans work

Many people prefer using short-term credit to using credit cards simply because it saves them money in the long run. Payday loans generally only have terms of about two weeks or until you receive your next paycheck. You must pay back your payday loan plus lenders fees all at once. So, after your two-week loan is up, you're done. There's no compounded interest every month on charges that can sit there for years. … click here to read the rest of the article titled "People turn to payday loans as new credit card laws set in"

Tiger Woods apology aped by Lindsey Vonn

"I too have a sex problem," says women's downhill champ

"I too have a sex problem," said an oblivious Vonn. (Photo: Wikipedia.org)

OK, we've heard the old warning about throwing stones in a glass house. It doesn't require a reset and you don't need money now to buy lessons. However, now that Lindsey Vonn has two Olympic gold medals, she's either forgotten it or figured she's too otherworldly for the laws of media thermodynamics to apply.

Seriously, come on, woman. If the Tiger Woods apology teaches us anything, it's that even the titans can fall. You certainly wouldn't be alone in finding fault with Woods' delivery – he isn't a skilled public speaker – but he's clearly struggling with an addiction and wants to do right by his family now. Make fun of a man for pathological sexual indiscretions and tell the media you have a snow white image – but try not to pose in a bikini for Sports Illustrated next time.

OK, non-prude disclaimer time

I don't have a problem with women posing in swimsuits. I think much of America is suffocating inside a puritanical straitjacket because they are afraid to admit that the sexual aspects of the body are not things of which they should be ashamed. People are willing to pay Lindsey Vonn to pose, and she's willing to accept the money. It doesn't necessarily advance women's skiing, though. For some, it sets it back a pace – think of it as kind of a Danica Patrick syndrome. Once she starts winning on the NASCAR circuit, then she'll move out from behind the shadow of GoDaddy and other centerfold shoots. … click here to read the rest of the article titled "Tiger Woods apology aped by Lindsey Vonn"

Get Renter’s Insurance For When Things Go Wrong

Renter’s insurance is an important step towards protecting your belongings. Simply because you live in an apartment, condo, or dorm, your stuff isn’t safe unless it is insured.

It really is amazing how quickly everything can go up in smoke

I had never thought of getting insurance until I almost lost it all. When I was in my first college apartment, my downstairs neighbors left a candle unattended. A woman that happened to be walking by noticed the flaming curtains and called 911. Just another five minutes, and everything I owned might have been up in flames. The following day, I made sure to look into renter’s insurance. If you don’t own the place you live, it is very smart to purchase renter’s insurance.

How to describe renter’s insurance?

More than likely, the condo association, homeowner, or landlord carries insurance on the building. However, this policy doesn’t cover your personal damages if something happens. No matter where you live – in a condo, an apartment, a dormitory, or even renting a room in a friend’s house, renter’s insurance may help protect you.

What could be covered?

Renter’s insurance generally covers fire, smoke, theft, snow, plumbing breakdown, vandalism, and more. Floods and earthquakes aren’t usually covered by most renter’s insurance . You will need to consult your insurer about another policy if your hometown is at risk of these. Keep natural disasters that have a tendency to happen within your areas in mind while you are policy shopping. Insurance will cover situations where your home is unlivable or there’s major damage.

What things will insurance pay for?

Replacement cost is a type of insurance, actual cash value is another. The sales value of an item is what actual cost value (ACV) insurance pays. When you have replacement cost insurance, you’ll be given what it takes to replace the items damaged. For example, an ACV policy would pay you only a few hundred dollars on a $ 1000 TV you purchased a few years ago. As an alternative to that, a replacement cost policy would give you what a new TV would actually cost.

What costs do I need to think about?

When purchasing renter’s insurance, it’s important to keep a few major numbers in mind. Before the insurance starts, the deductible is what you have to pay. Your premium is the price of your insurance that you give to the company every month or quarter. It is very useful to have an inventory of the items in your house along with their values. If something does happen, that list will help you get a full value of any items you lose. Finally, keep in mind that if you have an expensive or valuable item, you need to inform your insurance company.

You should make it a point to protect your investments, wherever you live. My college apartment almost went up in flames when my neighbors ignored a candle. That first semester in college taught me several things, but getting renter’s insurance was one of the most valuable lessons.

How to build savings and move away from payday loans

Today's world and the payday loan

In today's world, payday loans have become a reliable funding option. Many people find themselves at a shortfall when it comes to paying their monthly bills. Since the recession, credit cards have proven to be not as reliable as once thought. Credit lenders closed their doors sharply when they faced huge losses due to the overwhelming number of defaulting accounts. Interest rates skyrocketed, credit limits were slashed and lending companies altered their ru! les to make it difficult for even their best customers to use credit like they used to. The credit market is still leveling itself off and only time will tell what the future holds. In the mean time, consumers have gotten creative with how to pay their bills.

One option many people have used successfully is the payday loan option. These loans are built for people in need of quick cash. Normally the requirements include having a job, being over 18 and having direct deposit. The loans are helpful for those who qualify, and they can save applicants from over-limit fees and late fees that a late payment can trigger. … click here to read the rest of the article titled "How to build savings and move away from payday loans"
